PREPARING FOR 2012/

FASTING AND SPIRITUALLY CLEANSING

by

Yeyefini Efunbolade

In preparation for the upcoming New Year. Let’s get ready to release, cleanse, and re energize our spirits, minds and bodies.

Remember to also make your appointments early to receive your personal New Year forecast beginning on January 1, 2012 or go to my website and click on "Counseling Sessions."

Fasting is the practice of abstaining from food for clarity and strength. Fasting is the sacrificial denial of solid sustenance to not only cleanse the body but to release compacted toxins and negative energy from the mind and spirit. When we abstain from our normal eating habits, only consuming water or natural juices, the intention is short-term loss for a greater spiritual gain. The gain is the connection to spiritual devotion allowing a re-energizing of spirit and body

.Our spiritual and physical energies are so connected that when we feel cranky, irritable and/or out of sorts, we can immediately recognize that there is something in the body, mind or spirit that needs to change and shift. We can take control of our lives by being proactive in our wellness. Here are a few "LOVE TIPS" that can assist us

  • Burning of sacred herb and incense cleanses your home of negative and stagnant energy fields. (Available at www.yeyefini.com)

  • Cleansing is also external. Baths during this time is considered a fasting of the energy and toxins that attach to our outer physical selves. Special Banishing soaps and Spiritual Washes for the home are also available at www.yeyefini.com

Here is a deli-sh juice and a spiritual bath that can assist in beginning the fast.

Incredible Juice

  • 1 cucumber

  • 1 small beet

  • ½-rhubarb stalk

  • 1 apple

  • 1 pear

  • 8 carrots

More recipes are available in my book MEANINGFUL MONDAYS available at www.yeyefini.com

Bath

Bucket of water, add to it 16 bay leaves, 1 teaspoon of Florida water, efun (cascarilla) and let stand overnight. Say prayers as you mix and bathe for 8 days.

REMEMBER TO STATE YOUR AFFIRMATIONS
